WJS Road Show

WJS Roadshow ~ Coming to a Community Near You!

The leaves are turning, I have experienced my first snow fall of the season in Edmonton and the rains are falling on the coast… I believe that fall has arrived. We are coming up to the one-year anniversary of having our most recent strategic plan approved. This plan required our board to commit to a multi-year investment strategy to support the opportunities that staff and stakeholders identified as priorities.

We have been referencing our progress as we have moved along and with investments such as our switch to Microsoft Exchange you have experienced first hand. I am pleased to let you know that we want to share our progress in person with as many staff as possible, to both share where we are and hear from you about how we have been doing this past year.

We are calling it a road show but that does not mean you will be part of a passive audience. We will be sharing our new mission, vision and values, our “about to be launched” revised website, the future of talent development (that means you), what WJSource will bring to your work place as well as sharing more information about employee ownership and what it means to WJS.

We have scheduled these events for locations which will facilitate the most participation possible. We could not come to every location, but we hope that you will come to the event hosted close to where you work. Specifically, we will be visiting Kenora, Bonnyville, Slave Lake, Edmonton, Nanaimo, Port Coquitlam and Prince George.

I encourage you to participate if you can. We will always have commitments to our clients which means not everyone can come, so we will also be looking at other ways to share this information. If you can attend, please participate fully. Your input is important to us. It informs our direction, informs our course corrections and ensures we are investing our time and resources in priorities that will make a difference in your work.

I look forward to seeing you soon.

Caroline Bonesky, CEO WJS Canada
