Welcome Monica Gobbo
Just a few weeks ago, WJS welcomed Monica Gobbo to the HR team. Monica joins our team as the new benefits administrator. Monica has agreed to a short Q and A to help everyone get to know her better. Be sure to read Monica’s Q&A, and give her a warm WJS Canada “Welcome!”
Q: What’s your new role at WJS?
I’m the new Benefits Administrator.
Q: What do you think makes WJS different from other organizations?
Everyone is very helpful and welcoming.
Q: Why did you want to work with WJS Canada?
Most of my past work experience has been with companies that provided care and support services, and it was important to me to be a part of an organization that contributes to the community.
Q: What’s the most important part of your role?
Providing employees with information and assistance regarding the benefit process and their coverage.
Q: Will you share something about you that we may not already know?
I’m new to Canada and the BC area, I’m originally from California.
Q: What do you do outside of work?
Relax, spend time with family, and explore all the great things to do in the Vancouver area. (I love Global News’s 5 Things to do This Weekend).
