Update from River’s Edge
Staff at Rivers Edge received commendations for their quick action dealing with a medical emergency with one of the staff. The commendations, along with Starbucks gift cards, were awarded in a special ceremony before our staff meeting; James D’Hont handled the presentation of the letters as he was grateful for the staff team’s quick response.
One of our service recipients came back from Camp Zajak with stories of his adventures there. This is the third year he has attended.
Everyone from Rivers Edge went for our annual summer BBQ at a local park. It turned out to be a beautiful day and everyone enjoyed the food and activities.
Every month throughout the summer, staff and individuals from Rivers Edge and Creative options get together to enjoy music, go to a park, or go to the beach. Summer meeting places were out in the community.
