Staff Kudos
Over the last few months, our staff have really demonstrated the WJS ‘can do’ attitude!
A big thank you to Hussein Ossudallah worked with our staff in BC at our Interchange Program in Fort St John. He worked with staff to help with team building and strategies for working with high risk youth. He worked with the staff team for almost three weeks and continued his support with weekly phone calls. Thanks to Hussein and to Darren Caines for allowing Hussein to share his knowledge and time with us.
I also want to extend my thanks to Aaron Blackburn worked with our staff in BC at our Lost Lake Program in Nanaimo, BC. Aaron helped with behavioural intervention, planning, and reporting. I also want to recognize Danielle Newsome for the follow ups and to Donna Phillips for allowing the team to work with us at Lost Lake.
And finally, thanks to Lisa Grills and Marta Vargas for ensuring Lost Lake was in compliance with WorkSafeBC and was meeting our contractual obligations.
Lisa Grills not only provides leadership to her designated portfolio but has also taken on additional tasks such as crisis intervention and program supports at programs in Prince George and Nanaimo. We are so grateful to her for sharing her energy and expertise with programs that are outside of her portfolio.
