Northern Youth Centre Welcomes Back Elder Langford Ogemah
After a long absence from out team of Community Leaders, Northern Youth Centre is thrilled to welcome back Elder Langford Ogemah. Langford joins our youth and staff on a bi-monthly basis for cultural teachings and traditions.
Langford often incorporates teachings about being incarcerated, finding yourself in a complicated world, and reconnecting with traditions.
Langford looks forward to welcoming youth and staff to his sweat lodge in Rat Portage, for hands on practice in keeping a fire for the sweat lodge, and participating in a traditional sweat.
