New Policy: Overdose Response
WJS is in the midst of developing an overdose response policy and expects the policy to be approved by NMT very soon. Thank you very much to all those that provided feedback and review.
The policy is a measure of safety in order to address the overdose epidemic across Canada and is a requirement along with staff training for some of our licensed programs. We will also be working to train staff in other identified “high risk” programs in order to help the community respond to this crisis and prevent fatal overdoses. Check with your manager for more information about how this may affect your program.
