MS Office 365 and Exchange Implementation – Thank you!
In last year’s Employee Survey we heard people express the need for improvements in our IT operating environment as an important element of supporting the people we serve. As an outcome from this feedback and our Strategic Planning process, in November the decision was made to migrate from Zarafa to Microsoft Office 365.
Our fearless test pilot group, comprised of Tim Beachy, Shannon Blyth, Caroline Bonesky, Karina Botelho, Linda Burrough, Monty Chew, Stephanie Drouin, Cassie McCaffrey, Debi Pickering, Lyn Policha, Steve Quin, Peter Sidhu, Lynnett Stucky-Mack, Ashley Williamson, and Dawn Yuen did an amazing job of showing up and trusting in the leadership of the project team of Alex Hayer, Theresa Gebrail, Tech Support and yours truly. I wish to express my gratitude to my team for the dedication and excellent work.
As with any enterprise wide technology implementation of this nature, unforeseen issues occur and can create disruption. This project was no exception, we experienced our fair share of turbulence with navigating between two systems that didn’t seem to like each other much! Tech Support did an excellent job of prioritizing and pushing through the challenges.
On behalf of myself and the NMT, I wish to express our appreciation to everyone at WJS Canada for their patience and enthusiasm. We’re thrilled to report that we met our objectives and came in on time and under budget. More importantly, we’ve delivered a world class technology solution that will enhance the quality of work we do and improve the employee experience.
Looking forward to sharing all of the exciting work in progress with our SharePoint project with everyone, we think you’re going to love it!
More to come,
Ian Doyle
