Cultural Camp at Shoal Lake

This summer saw our youth participating in a cultural camp at Shoal Lake. The youth helped build a sweat lodge and a teaching lodge (the elder asked us not to take pictures of the teaching lodge). The young women made ribbon skirts. Some of the pictures show the lodge building, including tying poles and working with the cedar. The great part of the day was one that of our clients participated in drum making and I was invited to visit him in Dryden.
